Antique Sterling Silver Pheasant Place Card/ Menu Holder
Here we have a beautiful example of an antique Edwardian place card holder. This would be used to mark a persons place at the dinner table or could also be used for holding up a menu. It has exquisite piercing & engraving in the form of a pheasant and a ridged decoration around the circular base. This piece was made in 1902 and was assayed in Chester, which makes it quite attractive to any collector.
Our jewellers has quite a few pieces of antique silver that might be of interest to you and can be viewed at 8 Winthrop Street, Cork City.
